Facials & Exfoliation

FACIALS

Facials are so much more than just an hour of indulgence.  Performed regularly, facials offer important benefits to the health, wellness, and appearance of your skin with short- and long-term impact. When you think about it, taking care of your skin is just as important as eating a well-balanced diet, exercising regularly, and getting enough sleep.

Ideal for both men and women, facials professionally performed by our experienced, well-trained aesthetician can delay signs of aging, eliminate black heads, increase collagen production, improve skin elasticity and hydration, and leave your skin with a healthy glow.

Let us help you put your best face forward!  After an initial consultation, we will customize a facial treatment routine that works for you.  All products and treatments will be tailored to your skin type and current skin condition.

Facials are typically 45 – 60 minutes.

Facial Add-Ons:

  • Enzymes – Enhances exfoliation with a gentle mask to soften skin and assist in revealing the young fresh skin beneath.
  • Chemical Peel – Advanced chemical peels can penetrate deeper into the skin to help boost radiance, target dark spots, and reveal healthy, youthful skin again. (Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid)
  • LED Infrared Light – Added to any facial for fine lines, pigmentation, anti-aging, and healing benefits. Extends service by 20 minutes.

EXFOLIATON

Our skin is working day and night as we age.   As we get older, however, our skin’s cell turnover rate starts to slow down, leaving excess dead cells on the surface resulting in a dull complexion. Not to mention, excessive dead skin cells can reduce the penetration and absorption of your skincare routine products like moisturizers, serums, and sunscreen.

Regular exfoliation is necessary because it allows the shedding of the top layers of the dermis to readily allow the fresh skin to breathe and function without any unwanted barriers.  It stimulates the production of collagen to improve the skin’s texture, integrity, and keep the skin looking plump, tight, and young.

Microdermabrasion (Diamond Tip)

Microdermabrasion is a form of advanced exfoliation designed to remove dead skin cells, stimulate new cellular growth, and give the skin a fresh, smooth, luminous appearance. The treatment softens fine lines and wrinkles, decreases the appearance of age spots, hyperpigmentation, and scarring, as well as boosting collagen production and leaving skin supple and radiant.

The diamond-tipped wand efficiently sloughs away the top level of the skin, while the wand’s vacuum sucks up dirt and dead skin cells.  No annoying particles are left behind.  Due to the precise functionality of the diamond-tipped wand, this treatment can more accurately and safely exfoliate hard-to-reach places, such as areas closer to the eyes and mouth.

Many patients see dramatic improvements in the tone, texture, and color of treated areas after just one treatment.  This treatment is NOT recommended for clients with rosacea.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is an exfoliation treatment that involves gently scraping the face with a medical-grade scalpel to remove the very top layer of skin. The shave removes both dead skin cells and the fine vellus hairs that are known as peach fuzz, leaving the surface of the face ultra-smooth. By stimulating the development of new skin cells, this type of exfoliation — sometimes called a scalpel facial — helps new skin rise to the surface. It leaves patients with a more youthful, rested, and rejuvenated appearance, but without any harsh chemicals, excessive downtime, or pain.

The procedure is most often performed on the face but can be done on other body parts. Recommended monthly to promote healthy cellular turnover and help maintain your natural glow with no downtime.
